Born and raised in northern New Jersey, just 20 miles from Manhattan, Erin has always had a love for architecture, culture and the arts. This translated into a passion for design which lead her to pursue her degree from New York School of Interior Design and to later become a professional member of ASID. Erin completed her undergraduate degree at Lehigh University, majoring in International Business.

Erin founded Horseshoe Harbor Design, LLC of Larchmont, New York in 2010. Prior to launching her own firm she was President of the award winning design company, Fran Murphy and Associates, for 13 years.

Her exposure to the historic old homes of New England, combined with the bright and bold aesthetic of the architecture of the Florida Keys — her lifelong home-away-from-home — has cultivated her unique style, rooted in tradition but filled with fresh, bold details and classic charm. 

Clients up and down the East coast consistently experience Erin’s joy of design, her efforts to push beyond the basic and her practical instincts for living with design in everyday life — maximizing beauty, comfort and usability for every room.

Erin currently lives in the charming town of Larchmont, NY with her husband, their two teenage daughters and their lovable pup, Riggs.
